A young, 17 year old woman, named Heather, who is in the foster care and adoption system, is currently next in line to receive a liver transplant 1 month from today. My knowledge of the specifics are limited, the medical profession has determined that unless she is adopted and has someone to follow-up with her on her care, she will be removed from the transplant list.
There is a family that wants to adopt her, the woman is an RN, but the foster care and adoption system employees are not approving the adoption due to the woman having two, adopted, physically frail children already. Without the transplant, the child will die.
Please pray for Heather as the Lord leads - for a family, liver transplant, knowledge of the Lord if she does not know Him already. She lives in Pittsburgh.
