[Our Lord] who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity, - 2 Tim 1:9
I want to grow by not comparing myself to other women. Rather, instead being an encourager. (2 Cor 10:12)
I want to grow in the knowledge of my Lord, identifying all other false doctrines and religions in my life. (1 Tim 6:3)
I want to grow in always speaking the truth in love. (Eph 4:15)
I would ask Him to help me grow in His Love. (John 14:9-14).
Lord, please help me to grow through perseverance in faith and holiness of life by abiding in You.( I John 2:27-28) " But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming."
Here is my reply, it comes from when Pastor Brady spoke a couple of weeks ago about our position as son's and daughters of God. He said that some of us were acting like orphan's, the way he described the orphan in many ways described me. Especially, in how I interact with others. So, "As I stand before the Lord, as His daughter, I would ask him to help me grow with self esteem, body image, and relationships" - Psalm 139 - I am fearfully and wonderfully made & John 1:12.
