May 17th Prayer Requests

Julie, my daughter, and a group of about 25 other young adults [from NL] are leaving tomorrow morning very very early to fly out of DIA for Honduras. They will be gone until the end of the month. This is a shift in their trip which was originally planned for Mexico so some of the planning is last minute and a little confusing. Anyway, your prayer support these next couple of weeks would be greatly appreciated. Pray for … 1) Safety for the group, 2) Relationships to be built with each other, 3) Lives in Honduras to be ministered to, 4) Plans to come together, and 5) Whatever else comes to mind!!! – Deb (5/16)

Pray for us, as we appear to be under attack from the Devil. Our grand daughter fell out of our tree and broke her elbow and had to have surgery and a cast. A good friend and volunteer fell off a ladder and crushed her wrist. Our Pastor's wife was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and is starting chemo. My daughter who was recently diagnosed with diabetes and a detaching retina, from a pap smear, learned she also has some "slightly abnormal" cells. - Leslie (5/16 - CrossFire)

Thank you for all your prayers! Jared is out of the hospital and on his way to a friends house. He has to be on constant medication or the Chron's will eventually catch him, where there is no one to help, and eventually kill him. He is only 28. He needs insurance to be able to afford the medication. Very expensive. So thank you for praying. He has been sick for so long. We need to pray that he has a means to get the medication. Just stress could cause an attack that could be deadly. Thank you all for praying. God is so good. In Jesus, Shelley (5/17)

Thank you so much for your prayers. Daniella was released from the hospital at 3:40pm. She is now resting at a friends condo. The appendicitis attack started on Thursday night. She went to the emergency room @ 3:30am, they hooked her up to an IV because she was dehydrated, and sent her home. On Friday she continued to have stomach pains and slight fever. On Saturday morning she went to her doctor (Adam's mom encouraged her to do this) who then sent her to the emergency room for blood work and a CAT scan. This is when they discovered it was her appendix. Her appendix had ruptured but attached itself to her lining so the leakage was slow & minimal. They operated on her at 6:30pm Saturday (John and I were in the air at the time) - Thank you for your prayers during this time. When we landed we had a message the surgery had gone well. I stayed with her last night and everything went smoothly … God's blessing and love, Miros (5/17)

Thanks so much for all your prayers and the encouraging notes … I can't begin to describe what an amazing trip this was. God is so real, so amazing, and WORKING in the deepest, darkest areas of this world, esp. NK – Sarah (5/17)

My Gramma was told today--she has 2 days to 2 weeks. They found cancer throughout her body. She is 91 and has chosen to not go through chemo or surgery. Such conflicting emotions you know--she is happy to go...sad to leave. Thank you for praying. - Charlotte (5/17)
