- As some of you may know, My sister Merily, who is a single mom and has a special needs son, was cut down to only 25% of time and pay and her benefits were cut out completely. She just called and said has an interview with US Airways doing exactly what she used to do for Northwest airline for over 20 years in IT. The pay will be the same amount as she made before her reduction, they have great benefits and it's with the airline I work for, but in PHX where she lives. :-) Pray that they will overlook the degree listed in the job description and see past it because of her experience with the 25 years in the Airline industry with most of it in IT. - Mel
- We sold our house last Friday. It all went very well. But our new house's closing has been postponed several times. During this time, we stayed one night with our friends. And now this is the fourth night at a hotel. Most of our stuff is in storage or our in our friend's garage. Some stuff is in our minivan. Needless to say, our we tired of this situation ... It's tough to be homeless.So tomorrow should be the final closing. Please pray it would happen and that we could move into the new place. - Maarti
