I am still here in Texas and will be here until June 20th. I wanted to keep you updated as to how the Lord continually blesses me. Because I am spending more time in Texas this trip, I decided to go visit my friend Peter; (the one that I mentioned to you that is a former co-worker and is in a prison in Texas). As you know, I am retired and like every retiree am always broke. I can't afford to fly there so a friend is lending me an automobile to get there. (it is about 7-1/2 hours from my daughter's house). Then I was extremely worried thinking of lodging and have been searching on the internet for a cheap motel near the correctional center. Everything is very expensive so I had crazy thoughts of sleeping in the car. I know! it sounds crazy but I was determined to go even risking sleeping in the car. Well anyways, a friend from Florida called and hooked me up with a Baptist ministry that is about 1 mile from the correction center. It is Baptist Church with a ministry for the inmates and next door to the church there is free lodging for those visiting the inmates. I am so grateful for so many blessings. Please pray for me so that I have a safe trip. I am leaving tomorrow morning and hope to head back on Sunday. Praise the Lord!!!!!
